- Hi, I'm Jane. I am a community health nurse and nurse practitioner. But, let's set aside all labels for a minute and just chat. I believe there are an infinite number of sides to every major issue today. But be prepared to back up what you say with solid, unbiased evidence. The more I read online, the more convinced I am that people try to simplify debates by placing their opponents in box with a label they detest, and moving on. It is far too easy for men to discredit women by calling them a femininst. Or a lesbian. Try it here, and you won't get far. I'm here as a supporter of public health, LGBT health, elimination of health disparities, gay rights, diversity, and tolerance. I believe in the ideologies of acceptance and love, and that these are stronger and *better* than hate, judgment, and blind intolerance. I have a strong distase for bleu cheese and organized religion. I don't think it is anyone's right to demand that everyone follow their religious beliefs and personal morality, nor should they demand that our legal and medical systems follow one religion.
